Jade Jones is a singer-songwriter, producer and DJ from Brussels, living and working in New York City. Her music stems from a love of crafting moods and spaces, drawing out emotions and calling on thought, through sound and lyric. Her influence ranges from her mother’s favorite artists - Norah Jones, Fleetwood Mac, Roberta Flack, Joni Mitchell - and her own discoveries - Solange, Blood Orange, Clara Luciani, Jorja Smith, Amber Mark, Alice Phoebe Lou, Matt Corby. Her music has caught the attention of Lenny Kravitz, and Berlin-based collective Bakery (worked with Alice Phoebe Lou, Steve Lacy, Eliza Doolittle, Swiss Beatz, Frank Dillane, …) with who she collaborates.
Back in Belgium, she helps french-speaking artists enter the anglophone market through translation work and original songwriting. She also founded the Belgian art collective Fries Are Not French, exploring food, music, film and photography out of Belgium. She currently studies at the prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music.
